Here at BEST Nurseries, we are committed to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our staff, children and the wider nursery community.
We have been following the government guidance and have been working hard to implement protective measures and working processes, and working to achieve and maintain Covid-Secure settings.
Our protective measures have included the implementation of enhanced, more frequent cleaning of high contact surfaces, regular hand washing, and regular sterilisation of toys and resources.
We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain social distancing in our setting where possible, even though there are some elements of our work which do not allow for social distancing as you can appreciate, when it comes to providing care for such young children.
We are constantly monitoring updated government guidance and adapting our working processes accordingly and in real time.
Please do not send you child to the setting with the following symptoms:
A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
If your child has attended our setting and has these symptoms please inform us and arrange testing.
